I felt that Passion could have been better if we’d been given a chance to see more development vis-a -vis the Outcast members in the quest. I’d also had hope for more Cam dynamics since his Fall is so much more intriguing in lieu of what we discover of his past love.  Luce has grown enormously since the first book Fallen; she’s taken the reigns to control her life and is no longer that whining teen obsessing for Daniel with those hapless scenes of “why does he not like me?” I was estatic that Luce pursued her journey with Passion but sadly enough the jetlag killed whatever Passion I could muster for this read.  BUT I will not give up this series since my need to know - raison d’etre personality will not let me. OF COURSE , I will get the next installment Rapture: the Final book in the Fallen series with the hope that Cam will be back. Hmmm maybe we could hijack this one and make it all about CAM…. Just a wee wicked thought, who knows where karma will take us next.

Excerpt from Passion, page 190

Luce Price must find a way to break the eternal curse that follows her in each new life, a curse that renders love impossible between her and Daniel, the Fallen Angel.  At the moment where their love is greatest, she must die and Daniel must mourn until her soul is reborn on Earth again.  A cruel fate where their eternal bond must be replayed with the same catastrophic ending.

Luce is determined to understand the reason behind this curse and this leads her to question Daniel’s word since he constantly refusesto shed light on their history. It was as though he did not want her to unearth what he is hiding from her.

Luce jumps into the portal of time against the wishes of those who would protect her:  Daniel, Cam, and their crew The Outcasts chase her to prevent any cataclysmic change of the present. Luce friends Miles and Shelby - the Nephilims  have joined in  to save her but the journey is shadowed by the appearance of the one figure - no one dared to face.

Evil lurks in hidden shadows and no one is what they seem. Luce must find the truth before the truth destroys her.
